At Boston Watch Exchange, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of every timepiece we sell. We provide a one-year service warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring peace of mind and confidence in your investment. Additionally, we offer a 15-day, no-questions-asked return policy, allowing customers to return their watch for a full refund. Beyond this period, we provide a competitive buyback option should you decide to sell your timepiece back to us.
What is Covered Under the Service Warranty?
Our one-year service warranty covers the internal movement of the watch, ensuring proper functionality and performance. If your timepiece experiences any mechanical issues due to normal wear and use, we will service the movement at no additional cost.
What is Not Covered Under the Service Warranty?
While we are committed to quality, certain conditions are not covered under our warranty:
- Pocket watches, quartz movement watches, straps, jewelry, and accessories are excluded.
- Time variation: Due to the nature of mechanical and quartz watches, minor timekeeping variations are expected and not covered.
- Wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage, including but not limited to:
- Knocks, dents, crushing, or scratches.
- Cracked, scratched, or broken crystals.
- Water damage.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications: Any repair, alteration, or tampering performed by a third party without our written consent will void the warranty.
- Wholesale and dealer orders are not covered under this warranty.
- International purchases: Our warranty is limited to U.S.-based customers only and does not apply to international transactions. All international sales are final.
- Non-transferable: The warranty is only valid for the original buyer and cannot be transferred to a subsequent owner.
15-Day No-Questions-Asked Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return your watch within 15 days of the purchase date for a full refund—no questions asked. The watch must be in its original, unworn condition with all packaging, accessories, and paperwork included.
Buyback Program
After the 15-day return window, customers who wish to sell their watch back to us may take advantage of our buyback option. We offer competitive market-based valuations for timepieces purchased from us, ensuring a straightforward and fair process should you decide to part with your watch.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
All warranty-related service must be performed at Boston Watch Exchange’s headquarters by our authorized technicians. Before sending your watch in for service, please contact us for written authorization and shipping instructions.
We are not responsible for watches sent to us without prior notice, nor are we liable for watches lost in transit for warranty repairs.
